Nya coola grejer till Left 4 dead 2!
If you're already bored of using the cricket bat, axe, frying pan or electric guitar to fight your way through Left 4 Dead 2, how about smashing zombies with a custom-made sledgehammer?
A mod-maker from the Left 4 Dead Mods community has revealed the possibilities of custom melee weapons in Valve's zombie-slaying survival sequel.
Although the sledgehammer is still a work in progress, the important thing to remember is that this is not a replacement weapon; it is a completely new melee weapon with new files.
The fun doesn't stop there either; the creator has promised to release a full tutorial on how to make your own melee weapons, as well as the source files for the sledgehammer weapon.
Left 4 Dead 2 comes with at least ten melee weapons with each having unique strengths and weaknesses. Interestingly, all melee weapon scripts specify damage; between 50 and 80, and can be flagged for any combination of four special damage types: knockback, limb severing, decapitation, or burning.
This opens up the possibility for creating melee weapons that can be used to burn the infected; something which vanilla Left 4 Dead 2 currently doesn't have.

Nordic Call of Duty 4 League |

 xVera Gaming - Nordic Call of Duty 4 League
xVera har startat en liga i CoD4 för nordiska lag! Ett bra initiativ tycker jag för alla CoD4 lag i Norden!
Signup is finally open for our new Nordic League where teams from Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland and Denmark will fight to get the trophy of the Call of Duty 4 Nordic League S1.
The teams will be divided in divisions (6-8 teams each) where they will play one match against every team. When all the teams have played against each other the two best teams in all divisions except for division 1 will play against the 2 teams in the division above with the lowest score. After this, two teams in each division will get moved to a higher division and 2 teams to a lower division.
As always we will use PunkBuster Anti-Cheat, but this time we will also use X-Ray as Anti-Cheat. As usual it is mandatory to record demos. Read more about this and much more in our new rules specially done for this league. You can read the rules and discuss them HERE.
It's not decided whether we will have 1 or 2 matches per week and the same goes for match day/days. You can discuss and more on this page.

To signup you need to register here at www.xvera.eu and create a team with players from the different Nordic countries, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland or Denmark.
To be accepted to the league you need to have at least 5 players registered on the team with Punkbuster Guids and X-Ray in their profile.
You are not a leader of a Nordic team in Call of Duty 4.

Bans coming to cheaters in MW2 |

 Enligt IW kommer de straffa till en början med 2500 cheaters i MW2.
In a tweet IW Community manager FourZeroTwo is saying that "the steam ban hammer" is about to hit 2500 cheaters.
Ska bli intressant att se vad de ska göra och vad straffet kommer bli!
